American Express Gift Cards
American Express Gift Cards are a convenient way to ensure that certain someone receives a gift they would really enjoy. No longer stress about finding that perfect gift, give them the freedom to do so! American Express Gift Cards work like any other gift card. The recipient uses the gift card as a credit card when making their desired purchase(s).
- American Express Gift Cards are available in four (4) different denominations: $25, $50, $100 and $500.
- Can be purchased at any CSFCU Teller window. (See your favorite teller!)
- Good everywhere American Express is accepted (stores, movie theaters, sporting events, restaurants, hotels, museums, and more).
- Each American Express Gift Card comes complete with a gold memo card and matching envelope, leaving space available if you wish to enclose a personal message to the gift card recipient.
- No expiration date, although, a $2 fee may be assed by American Express for inactivity (assessed after 1 year of inactivity- based on date of activation.)
- American Express Gift Cards are for one-time use only. Once the original amount has been depleted or spent, the card is no longer valid. At this time, please destroy and dispose of the card.
- Gift card recipients may check available funds, as well as the transaction history at: www.americanexpress.com/giftcard or 1-877-AXP-GIFT.
- If lost or stolen, the gift recipient must notify American Express immediately at: 1-877-AXP-GIFT. Funds used on the gift card before it being lost may not be replaced or returned, please refer to American Express for further details. A minimal fee may apply for card replacement.

American Express Traveler's Cheques
American Express Travelers Cheques are available for purchase by CSFCU members for the added safety and convenience in lieu of traveling with cash.
Cheques for one signer are available in the following denominations:

Stamps
Don’t make an extra trip to the Post Office! Purchase stamps from your favorite teller with no extra fee!
Courtesy Pay
Courtesy Pay provides a cushion that may permit you to overdraft your account up to a specified limit assigned by the credit union. By covering your overdrafts, it eliminates the extra expense and embarrassment of having items returned.
Courtesy Pay is a non-contractual program that requires no action on your part. You do not have to sign any agreements or paperwork. This service will be extended to you as long as you keep all your credit union accounts in good standing. To remain in good standing you must make regular deposits and return your share draft account to a positive balance at least once every 45 days.
County Schools Federal Credit Union will assign you a personal overdraft limit. Your overdrafts, which include share drafts, ATM, ACH, debit card and over the counter withdrawals will be covered up to that limit. Each transaction that we honor will be charged a fee of $30. County Schools Federal Credit Union will send you notification each time your account is overdrawn. Courtesy Pay may be revoked if your account is not returned to good standing within 45 days.

Money Orders
Money Orders, Courtesy of Money Gram, are available for purchase for those times in which a money order is to be submitted as payment. Money Orders give you the freedom of writing in the payee and identifying yourself with your own personal hand-written information.
- Money orders can be issued in any increments up to $1,000.
- Can be purchased at any CSFCU Teller window. (See your favorite teller!)
- Receipt of purchase is available for safe record keeping.
- Money Orders are considered void after ninety (90) days.

Teller Checks
Teller Checks, also referred to as “Official Checks” and “Bank Checks,” are available for purchase for those times in which a check needs to be submitted as payment. Teller Checks can also serve as a replacement of a personal check and/or money order. Please provide us with the payee and any account number, reference number or memo you would like to include and we pre-print all the information for you!
- Teller checks can be issued up to any amount with no limit.
- Can be purchased at any CSFCU Teller window. (See your favorite teller!)
- May be subject to Funds Availability Regulations if presented for Deposit or Encashment at any Financial Institution.
- Teller Checks expire after ninety (90) days.
- If lost or stolen, please call us immediately and/or visit us as soon as possible.
- A minimal fee may apply for purchase of this product.
Cashier’s Checks
Cashier’s Checks are guaranteed funds and are available for purchase for those times in which a check needs to be submitted as payment. Cashier’s Checks may be treated as good as cash. It’s just a safer way of transferring funds from here to there! Please provide us with the payee and any account number, reference number or memo you would like to include and we pre-print all the information for you!
- Cashier’s Checks can be issued for any amount with no limit.
- Can be purchased at any CSFCU teller window. (See your favorite teller!)
- May be exempt from Funds Availability Regulations. Please have receiving institution call for proper verification.
- Cashier’s Checks expire after ninety (90) days.
